Welcome to Pre-K!
If you would like your child to have breakfast, have them at school at 7:15. Breakfast and lunch are free this year for all elementary students. Dismissal for pre-k is at 3:15. Please pick up your child at the doors on the East side of the building. Please be prompt in picking up your child.
Homework will be M-Th unless otherwise specified. Your child will need crayons, scissors and glue at home to complete their homework.
Your child will need a sleeping mat with their name on it in permanent marker. Please bring the mat with you to open house.
Please keep food and drink away from your child's homework notebook. I will not be able to replace items that are lost out of their notebook. Please help us to teach your child that they need to take care of school property.
If there is ever a problem, know that I am here for you and your child. If they are having a bad morning let me know. A note letting me know to handle your child with care that day or a phone call.
In a plastic gallon bag, place two season appropriate changes of clothes-including underwear and socks, in case your child has an accident or spills something on their clothes. This needs to be in your child's backpack each day. If your child needs a blanket at nap time, that will need to be in the backpack as well. No stuffed animals or pillows will be allowed. All items must fit easily in their backpacks; this includes lunch boxes and notebooks. They need their backpack brought to school each day.
If your child is cold-natured, a light sweater will be needed daily. The thermostat is set at 70 degrees year around.
Snack Calendar: is located on the back cover of your child's notebook. Please be aware of the date you are to furnish snacks(and drinks).
